The market is hot. We here every day lot of people loosing jobs. Most of them are in Investment and banking fields and ofcourse IT is always there. But still i feel there are lot of opening for sales and marketing executives. Many young graduates are not inclined to do sales jobs since they feel they are high pressure jobs where they have to achieve targets month after month and should be on field every day. What are the other options available for these young fresh graduates who are in lakhs. Government cannot provide jobs to every one at the maximum Central Government, All state Governments, Public Sector Banks, Other Public sector organisations can provide say 5 lakh new jobs a year. But there will be 10 times more people looking for jobs every year. Where they will get the jobs. There are call centres and Software companies. What is the long term prospect of a call centre executive. How many years one can work in the night shifts and what are the growth opportunities in that sector. After 2 years, 3 years or 5 years what will be the future, where they end are there any career growth opportunities in those sectors. What is the salaries for the 5 years experienced call centre executives. They are good only for the freshers, since the entry level salaries are high, but over the period of two years theur salaries stagnate and others who started careers in sales start getting much better salaries and are on high growth career path.
When one issue a advertisement for sales job very few applications are recieved and if ad is for call center job there will be thousands of applications. There are lot of opening in sales jobs so go in to the high career jobs instead of other jobs.
